They may be denying it but Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's chemistry during the the trailer launch of 'Ram Leela' was hard to miss. The lead actors of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's new film had eyes only for each other as they posed happily for the lenses. Deepika playfully pointed a gun at Ranveer's heart and the actor was more than happy to be her target. Singh says he's keeping his fingers crossed for 'Ram Leela'.
"It is a love story like Romeo and Juliet and it forms the
core of the film. I think chemistry is the driving force of the
film. I hope it works," he said.
Padukone, who plays the role of a Gujarati chokri in the film,
mesmerized in a stunning lace Sabyasachi sari. Deep red lips and
Amrapali jewellery added to her look. Deepika, who is playing
Leela in the film, said: "Leela is the female version of
Ram, who is very vulnerable but emotionally strong."
Ranveer described his character of Ram as raw, energetic and intense young boy from Gujarat. A special rangoli of the poster was made and the cinema hall was decorated with earthen lamps.
